The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series is pleased to announce that our reading scheduled for Wednesday December 15th will feature Jill Di Donato, Mark Goldblatt.

The reading will occur at BAR on A at 7:30 PM. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Jill Di Donato holds an MFA in fiction from Columbia University, where she’s also taught writing. Currently, she teaches writing and literature at several New York colleges, including Barnard and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her fiction and essays have been published in various literary journals, and she’s a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, where she writes about sexual politics. Represented by Linda Langton of Langtons International Agency, she’s pursuing publication of her debut novel, Beautiful Garbage — the misadventures of a sculptor/call girl in 1980s New York. Mark Goldblatt is a political columnist, book reviewer and novelist. His first novel, Africa Speaks, was published by Permanent Press in 2002. His second novel, Sloth, was published by Greenpoint Press in 2010. He has written hundreds of opinion pieces for a combination of the New York Times, the New York Post, USA Today, Newsday, National Review and the American Spectator. Goldblatt is an associate professor at Fashion Institute of Technology of the State University of New York, where he teaches courses in the Old and New Testaments, American Religious History, American Literature, and Freshman Writing. The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series hosts readings every last Wednesday of the month at BAR on A in the East Village. Due to the December holidays, this month’s reading is early.
