The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series is pleased to announce that our reading scheduled for Wednesday January 26th will feature Joseph Riippi, Melissa Broder, and Lauren Oliver.

The reading will occur at BAR on A at 7:30 PM. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Joseph Riippi is the author of the novel Do Something! Do Something! Do Something! (2009) and the forthcoming The Orange Suitcase (March 2011). Recent writing appears in BOMB’s Word Choice, The Brooklyn Rail, Gulf Stream, Everyday Genius, and others. He lives in New York. (www.josephriippi.com)

Melissa Broder is the author of the poetry collection When You Say One Thing but Mean Your Mother (Ampersand Books, 2010). Poems appear, or are forthcoming, in Opium, Five Dials, Barrelhouse, HTMLGIANT, Action Yes, and many other places. She edits La Petite Zine and curates the Polestar Poetry series at Cakeshop. Lauren Oliver graduated from the University of Chicago and received her MFA degree in fiction at New York University. Her first book, Before I Fall, a New York Times Bestseller, was published by HarperTeen in March 2010 and will be translated into twenty-two languages. Her second book for teen readers, Delirium, will be released in February, and later this year she will publish her first children’s book, Liesl & Po. When she is not writing, she is working with up-and-coming authors through her development company, Paper Lantern Lit. Or sleeping, or buying shoes.

The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series hosts readings every last Wednesday of the month at BAR on A in the East Village.
