The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series is pleased to announce that our reading scheduled for Wednesday, January 28th will feature Lee Matthew Goldberg, Lindsay Goldwert, and Thaddeus Rutkowski.
The reading will occur in The Back Room at Jimmy’s No. 43 at 7:30 PM. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Lee Matthew Goldberg graduated with an MFA from the New School. He is a regular contributor to The Montreal Review and The Adirondack Review. His fiction has also appeared in Essays & Fictions, The New Plains Review, Orion headless, Verdad Magazine, BlazeVOX, and on Amazon. He is a co-curator of The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series. His debut novel Slow Down is a neo-noir thriller published by New Pulp Press.
Lindsay Goldwert is a journalist, a stand-up comic, a ghost-writer, a sponsored content writer and a PR content strategist and a comedy writer. She has over twelve years of print and digital editorial experience, including two stints as homepage editor for two national news sites and editor of the Life & Style vertical at NYDailyNews.com. Her work has appeared in Fast Company, New York Daily News, Slate, Mediabistro, The Next Web, JustGarciaHill, Glamour, Redbook, ABCNews.com, CBSNews.com and others. She also co-founded Sunnyside Comedy, a series of stand-up comedy shows in Sunnyside, Queens.
Thaddeus Rutkowski is the author of the novels Haywire, Tetched and Roughhouse. All three books were finalists for an Asian American Literary Award, and Haywire won the Members’ Choice Award, given by the Asian American Writers Workshop. He teaches at Medgar Evers College and the Writer’s Voice of the West Side YMCA. His writing has appeared in The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry, The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, Fiction, Fiction International and other publications. He received a fiction fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
