The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series is pleased to announce that our reading scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th will feature Jody Azzouni, Loren Kleinman, and Joel Allegretti.

The reading will occur in The Back Room at Jimmy’s No. 43 at 7:30 PM. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Jody Azzouni has published numerous short stories in literary magazines such as Alaska Quarterly Review, Paper Nautilus, The Literary Review, and The Madison Review. He currently has stories forthcoming in Cottonwood and The Chariton Review. He currently resides in Somerville, Massachusetts, but visits New York as much as possible.

Loren Kleinman’s poetry has appeared in journals such as Drunken Boat, Nimrod, Wilderness House Literary Review, Paterson Literary Review, Narrative Northeast and Journal of New Jersey Poets. Her interviews appeared in IndieReader, USA Today and The Huffington Post. She is the author of The Dark Cave Between My Ribs. Breakable Things, her third collection, releases March 2015 via Winter Goose Publishing.

Joel Allegretti is the author of five collections of poetry. His second, Father Silicon (The Poet’s Press, 2006), was selected by The Kansas City Star as one of 100 Noteworthy Books of 2006. He is the editor of Rabbit Ears: TV Poems (NYQ Books, 2015), the first anthology of poetry about the mass medium. Allegretti’s fiction has appeared in The MacGuffin, The Adroit Journal and The Nassau Review, among other literary journals. His poetry has appeared in The New York Quarterly, Barrow Street, Smartish Pace, PANK, and many other national journals, as well as in journals published in Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and India. Allegretti is a member of the Academy of American Poets and ASCAP.
